Sama Laser Piles, Fistula & Fissure Centre
Day-care laser and minimally invasive surgery for piles, fistula and fissure — at a doctor-owned, NABH-accredited hospital that has been treating South Delhi since 1982.
Anorectal problems are common, they are miserable, and they are very treatable. They are also an area where over-treatment is rife. Our first job is to tell you honestly whether you need an operation at all — and often, you do not.
Conditions We Treat
Modern laser and minimally invasive techniques, chosen for your case — not for a package.
Piles (Haemorrhoids)
Stitchless laser haemorrhoidoplasty — minimal pain, quick recovery. Early grades often need no surgery at all.
Anal Fistula
Sphincter-preserving FiLaC laser closure, usually day-care — chosen to protect continence.
Anal Fissure
Non-surgical treatment first. Most fissures heal without an operation; surgery only when they do not.
We also treat pilonidal sinus using a minimally invasive laser technique (SiLaC), which heals faster and needs far less wound care than traditional excision.
Laser Is a Tool, Not a Promise
Laser allows precise, controlled surgery with less tissue trauma, less post-operative pain and faster healing. For many patients it is genuinely better.
But it is a tool, not a miracle — and a centre that recommends laser to every patient who walks through the door is not making a clinical decision. Most fissures heal without surgery. Early-grade piles are managed with diet, medication or a simple outpatient procedure. The first question is always whether an operation is needed; only then, which one.
Why Choose Sama
Doctor-owned and NABH-accredited. Clinical decisions come first. There is no revenue target pushing you toward the theatre — and in anorectal surgery, that matters more than in almost any other field.
You are treated by the surgeon you meet. Our surgeons are named on this page, with their qualifications. The consultant who assesses you is the consultant who operates.
Day-care, fast recovery. Most patients go home the same day and are back to routine within 24 to 48 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is laser always the right choice?
No — and any centre that says otherwise is selling. Most anal fissures heal without surgery. Early-grade piles are treated with diet, medication or an outpatient procedure. Laser is an excellent tool for the cases that need surgery, but the first decision is whether an operation is needed at all.
Is it day-care?
In most cases, yes. Admitted and discharged the same day, back to routine within one to two days. Complex or recurrent fistulas may need a longer stay.
Is cashless insurance available?
Yes. Sama is empanelled with leading insurers and TPAs, and our team will confirm your eligibility before admission.
Will my continence be affected?
Preserving the anal sphincter is the central concern in this surgery, and sphincter-preserving techniques such as FiLaC are chosen precisely to protect it. The risk is not zero with any technique, and the trade-offs will be explained honestly before you consent.
