We are not an acute stroke centre and do not perform neurosurgery. Instead, we specialise in the weeks and months of medical care and rehabilitation that follow a hospital discharge.

Do you treat acute stroke?
No. Acute stroke is a medical emergency requiring immediate specialist intervention in a tertiary hospital. If someone is having signs of stroke (sudden weakness, speech difficulty, facial drooping, severe headache, or vision loss), call 999 or go to the emergency department of a tertiary centre. Once the acute phase is over and the patient is ready for discharge or step-down, we can provide ongoing medical care and rehabilitation.
Do you perform neurosurgery?
No. We do not perform brain or spinal surgery. However, we specialise in caring for patients after neurosurgery has been done elsewhere. Many patients come to us from Delhi’s tertiary neurosurgery centres to continue recovery and rehabilitation in a dedicated setting.
When should a patient move from a tertiary hospital to post-acute care?
This decision is made jointly by the tertiary hospital team, your neurologist, and the patient’s family. Generally, the patient should be medically stable (no need for ICU-level monitoring), but still require rehabilitation, medical supervision, and help with daily activities. Timing is individual; some patients are ready after a few days, others after weeks. Your doctor will advise.
How long does rehabilitation take?
This varies widely. Some patients see major progress in 4–8 weeks; others need 3–6 months or longer. The most rapid recovery usually happens in the first 3 months, but meaningful improvement can continue for years. We work with each patient to set realistic timelines and goals.
Will my relative recover fully?
That depends on the nature and severity of the neurological injury, and on many individual factors. We cannot promise full recovery. What we can promise is expert medical care, intensive therapy, family support, and honest communication about progress and realistic expectations. Some patients regain full independence; others improve significantly but with some lasting limitations. Every recovery is unique.
